We describe our experiences of The Ibaraki Medical Welfare Workshop. It has been held at Tsukuba International University since 1996, though the beginning was in 1988 by the primary care physicians from all over Ibaraki prefecture. The number of the participants and the papers in this workshop is being increased, for example, 945 participants and 85 papers were present at the last meeting in 2001. Today, the participants discuss the papers from a practical viewpoint of cooperation with medical treatment, health care, and welfare. We also point out, what they learned there is useful to get skill up for themselves. Furthermore, this workshop is an opportunity to study for many students who aim at working in these field in future. |
