| 内容記述 | Recent rise of interest in dysfunctional families has surfaced the remedial need of intentional reunification or regeneration of family. In child abuse, the awareness of the problematic family situation itself constitutes the crucial first step toward resolution, which ultimately gives the family the sense of meaning for its resolving efforts. The process, which may be initially centered upon the child's right, will embrace the relationship between the victim and the abuser, and eventually the whole family in its scope. Professionals try to construct the contextual framework of the family, on which an interpretation of the abuse is to be worked out. The clinical sociology, a discipline seeking a practical solution to social issues, poses a question how the interpretation may lead to effective resolution in child abuse. The family system approach is an attempt to solve the problem by way of professionals' intervention within the dynamics of the whole family surrounding the victim and the abuser. There is another approach that tries to contextualize the problematic situation, through the narrative of the clients, i.e. the victim and the abuser. The clients' narratives often open a new horizon to distinct interpretation of the issue, leading to a new solution. Narrative, when properly supported by the professionals, can provide the clients with a chance to reinterpret their relationship with their family. | |||||||||||
