This study analized the procedure of Dousa-Taiwa Therapy (D. T. T.) with two developmentally disabled childeren aged four. The aim of this procedure was to establish a relationship between the therapist and child via the medium of physical manipulation. The results demonstrait that D. T. T. influenced their behavior during each of the progressive phases involved. Improved social interaction between the therapist and child resulted in an improvement in daily living skills. The relationship between the therapist and each childeren via the medium of physical manipulation was paralleled in the relationship each child established with others in his immediate environment. |
