Firstly, we reviewed the current issues of Information Systems, particularly its scope, the capabilities and knowledge expected for information system professionals, and the three educational levels for Information Systems in college. Secondly, we examined the curriculum architecture, the curriculum presentation areas, the body of knowledge, the learning units, and the courses and their sequence of Information Systems according to IS'97.
