That is, the "child" has been found by adults as "the other." The purpose of this paper is to examine the "adult-child" relationship mainly from the viewpoint of the role of parent, and to investigate the relative position of the child looked by adults as "the other." First, I direct my attention to the viewpoint of "cross-culture" of Honda, M., which outlines the subjective image of the child. Then, I rearrange this subjective image of the child within the "adult-child" relationship. As an example I deal with the parents in particular, and try to settle the relative positon of the role of parent, employing both the role theory of Dreitzel, H.R and the concept of "role-distance" of Goffman, E. As a result, I examine how the "child" is determined by such relative positioning of the role of parent. It will be useful to consider such relationships between adults and children taking concrete roles, when we wish to understand the position of the child within the "adult-child" relationship., 13, KJ00004129549, P}, pages = {99--113}, title = {関係性としての子ども : 親役割の視点から}, volume = {11}, year = {2005}, yomi = {イワカワ, コウジ} }
