The effect of Japanese sentences type practice is analyzed by the typing speed when inputting Japanese sentences is practiced after the practice of the touch method. The experiments were conducted by picking up 41 students who had been studying the computer literacy education in our university. The following three observations were obtained; (1) If learning of the type skill is higher, the effect of acquirements of the keyboard operation including the kana-to-kanji conversion is high. (2) The initial Japanese sentences typing speed didn"t significantly influence the later progress in the type practice.
