T. T.) with 4 developmentally disabled children. The aim of this procedure was to establish a relationship between the therapist and child via the medium of physical manipulation. The results demonstrait that D. T. T. influenced their behavior during each of the progressive phases involved. Improved social interaction between the therapist and child resulted in an improvement in daily living skills. The relationship between the therapist and each children via the medium of physical manipulation was paralleled in the relationship each children established with others in their immediate environment. The way to interact with the therapist in autistic children and mental retarded children showed different processes in D. T.
