| 内容記述 | This study deals with a service of experimental research for understanding handicaps, targeting 34 Elementary-School-Level (third-grade) students. Not a sufficient number of studies have been done in this field before. This program consists of the two segments. The first of which relates to a set of paintings of daily life scene. Students are asked to see these pictures and make a judgement on them. The second module is 'Can-Do' (what the visually-challenged people can do) simulation. For instance, students can identify the objects by touching (not 'seeing') them through this simulation. As a results of this experiment, there was a positive effect on 'Can-Do' simulation. Using some pictures also helped the students to develop their understandings handicaps. These findings prove that the program of this study is quite effective as an introduction for better understanding handicaps. | |||||||||||
