基礎看護技術の演習で患者役割を体験した学生の認識と心理的状態を探ることを目的に,A短期大学看護学科1年生で,結果の公表に同意が得られた39名を対象に調査を行った。その結果,全体的に学生は患者役割を体験することで患者の心理や看護技術の要点を理解し,看護を学習する上で役に立つという認識が強いことが明らかになった。また,排泄に関する技術演習項目で,学生は自分が患者役として恥ずかしさや苦痛を感じていても,患者の心理を理解するという認識には至っておらず,今後この点を結びつける指導上の工夫が必要であることが示唆された。そして,多くの学生は患者役割を体験することを肯定的に捉えているが,演習内容によって恥ずかしさを感じ,看護師役の学生に対する遠慮などが見られ,学生が心理的侵襲を受ける可能性は完全には避けられない状況にあるため,この点を考慮した授業の取り組みが必要である。 |

Among the freshmen of A junior college nursing department who had played patient's role in basic nursing skill practice, thirty-nine students were studied who agreed to the release of the result, on their recognition and psychological state during the training. The result showed that the students generally thought that playing patient's role helped them better understand patients' feelings and essence of nursing skills. As for the skill pertaining to excretion, though the students felt embarrassed and distressed when playing the patient's role, they failed to understand the actual patients' feelings. This suggested that guidance to the student be needed to place them in patients' positions. While bulk of the students assessed the patient-role-playing experience positively, some exercises made the patient-role-playing students feel uncomfortable because of the shyness to the nurse-role-playing students. This possible infliction of psychological stress cannot be completely avoided but should be minimized when planning future exercises. |
